Iolite is the gemstone variety of the mineral cordierite. It is also sometimes called water sapphire. The colour of the stone ranges from light blue to dark blue, and carries the spirit of exploration, (spiritual) journey and realising dreams. It is said to help with disorientation or dizziness, strenghtens confidence and endurance.
