In Hinduism as well as in Buddhism, each day of the week is dedicated to a particular God / Buddha. If you feel spiritually related to Hinduism, the specific Hindu God of the day you are born has a strong connection with you, it is your birthday God.
Friday God - Goddess Lakshmi
Lakshmi is the consort of the god Vishnu. She is one of the most popular goddesses in Hindu mythology and known as the goddess of wealth and purity. Lakshmi is commonly portrayed as a beautiful woman with four arms, standing on a lotus flower. There are usually one, or sometimes two elephants behind her, anointing her with water. She is also often depicted sitting beneath Vishnu, massaging his feet. She is Prakriti, the perfect creation: self-sustaining, self-contained nature. She is Maya, the delightful delusion, the dream-like expression of divinity that makes life comprehensible, hence worth living. She is Shakti, energy, boundless and bountiful.
