There are many stories about Chysoprase. Alexander the Great is said to have won many victories while wearing this stone on his belt. That is why this stone has been nicknamed the 'Victory Stone'. Cleopatra was also a fan of this stone because it is said to promote youthfulness. The German mystic Hildegard von Bingen used chrysoprase against gout and to cool down emotions in hot-tempered indivuduals. The stone is still used today to cool down intense emotions of jealousy, envy, anger and broken hearts. (*)
