Incense resin to be used in charcoal burners, and with our special incense burner sieves.
Composition:
Styrax Styracaceae styrax calamitus (Indonesia, Sumatra)
With the incense burners, the burning process will be slower than with charcoal. You may readily mix this incense with other kinds, provided you will use a slightly larger burner.
Styrax, or also named storax resin, is an odoriferous tree resin, which is used for incense or as a medicine. Originally it came only from Asia Minor and the eastern part of the Mediterranean, extracted from the storax tree (Styrax officinalis). Later the main part came from various species of the very alike odouring (but not related to the storax tree) amber tree (Liquidambar orientalis, Liquidambar styraciflua), which is often named the storax tree as well.
Available are also a fitting pair of tongs to safely kindle the charcoal, another pincer for picking up the sieve, a wire brush for cleaning the sieve, and a wild turkey feather for dispersing the scent.
